Fishing Report November 2011 The Striped Bass season has begun. Bass have been taken off the rocks in the inlet, outside and in the sod banks on live spot. Sea Bass and Blackfish [Tautog] are open again and are being caught in large numbers. Large Blue Fish and Shark have been on the bite off shore strong this month and show no signs of quitting.
Inside or offshore our customers have had great success this season with our live spot, and live clams, fresh bunker Squid Minnows, Spearing etc.

Along the Ocean, Beach and Barnegat Bay:
Seems like you can catch Striped Bass at will on spot or with the right Bucktail in the bay. Blackfish, on the rocks or Wrecks are being taken with green Crab. Keepers are being taken at a more than reasonable rate. Catching a keeper Bass or a large Bluefish or Shark has been very easy this month with the correct bait or Jig. Fish bare being taken in large numbers. Fisherman ar catching their limit quickly or enjoying a day of catch and release. Don't let somebody else take home your big fish. Stop by, fill-up your gas tank, pick up your bait, a free cup of coffee and get out on the water or reserve your boat today. Live Spots will be available as always, if you would like a large number of spot feel free to call ahead and reserve them. We also have spot pens available. We have Live Spots, Fresh Bunker an Clams, Cut Squid, Whole Squid and Trolling Squid, Frozen Bunker, Green Crabs, Spearing, Sand Eels, Smelts, and much more so get them while you can and put some fish in the boat.
